    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone who had experience of using Konica Minolta c650 MFP or own one let me know if it is a good investment to buy this machine and your experience using this machine. My intention for this machine is for short run jobs. I got an offer on the used konica minolta c650 for a good price less 5k without the fiery control. My seller told me that this machine has an internal control and doesn't need the fiery control and doesn't let me know the reading on it until he gets a commitment to buy from me first. Can anyone provide me some input on this machine-should I get buy it at all or lease it?

    Kindly appreciated,
    Mya

    Hey
Get the C650, its a great little machine.
I have a xerox 700 for the print that need to look nice. And 3 pcs. C650 for every day printing.
The C650 is way more reliable. I run around 700.000 print / year on the C650 that i use the most. It is never down (and i have no service deal). In the last year I have replaced 1 pick up roller. And a lot of the normal comsumable parts like IU unit, Fuser, Transferbelt. I reset the IU units by he way.

The Xerox 700 need some kind of service around every 30k print.

EDIT: Dont get the fireey controller, it sounds like a vaccum cleaner that is turned on 24/7. Is makes better prints sometines, and somtimes worse. Mostly better with small details on heavy stock.

    Hope that helped a bit.

i just got a konica bizhub c5500 mfp printer
it keeps showing error codes all indicating to the development section and sensors...
i checked the printer control board and have replaced the developer(tcr) sensors and i have also done the developer initializations mentioned in the the technical manual but i still keep getting the same error codes..
is there anything else i could do to get the machine to print

This is where a service contract and lease shine. If you have a problem, call tech support and they will send a tech out and fix your machine within the week at no cost to you.

I think you would be better off with a thread asking about your specific problem since it doesn't sound like you are trying to decide to lease or buy which is what this thread was about.

Out of curiosity though, since you posted in this thread, are KM service contracts on leases available in zimbabwe sinnkie686?

Hello , i had experience of using Konica Minolta c650 MFP. I just want to say that if you want to go for long term printing then buy it and if not just lease it. Its price is reasonable.
