Konica Minolta C6500 text resolution quality

I have been told that text does not print as sharply as it's competative models and I can see now that it is true. I have tried all settings, Line, Dot, Gray text outlining.
Certain settings do create sharper text depending on certain fonts but even the best result falls a bit short of other machines. Also the difference between Dot 1 and 2 and Line 1 and 2?

It's not so obvious to the naked eye always, some text is,.. but when viewing the text under a lupe, not so tight. Does anyone have additional information on this subject, and or have any tips, tricks or advice? Thanks.

do not flat text and image on print file.
keep text files as text
use this setting (for text & photo combination)
:
- dot 1
- change resulation to highest
- set image quality to best
- change text mode to outline
- send the print file from adobe acrobat

and let me know the resault :)
