Komori transfare cylinder rust

If you have rust on your transfare cylinders (Komori full cylinders)
I have a very good solution (and i do not mean buy a Heidelberg)
use it once and it will hold for years , looks good and will not fail.
also good for sellers who want to sell a press with no rust

 

do u have any solution for chromed impression cylinders? can we restore the chrome after repairing a damaged cylinder?

Chrom cylinders are easy to repair once you have the right equipment & know how.
you refil the chrom missing layer by layer with electrolisis to get the right surface that will re-protect the cylinder as if it was original chrom.

This is not cheap but worth it
If you want we can send someone to you to do the job - we have a very good guy doing this for years.

 

Ok, but if you cant get them rechromed, this is what I did.First I cleaned and sanded off rust, wipe down cycliners with v-120 then alcohol. After completely clean, spray paint them with rustoleum primer. worked like a champ. apply light even coats.
