Komori sprint wrinkle on paper

I have Komori sprint 2 color s26
I am trying to print 250gsm duplex paper
But I am getting wrinkle on the tail of the paper on both side. I have checked the gripper it’s ok still can’t find a solution.
This happens to large paper only like 19x25 paper as small paper there is no wrinkle.

The wheels on the back of the paper might be to tight in the freder. Try to back them of a bit

No we have tried it; still wrinkles are coming. Changed the blanket also but still

Are both units on impression? try one at a time and see if You can figure out which unit it happens in

Is there any waviness or tight edges at all to your stock? Have you tried throwing in a small lift of a different sheet of the same size and weight to determine if it is a paper problem? Grain direction???

Yes we have checked the paper there is no problem with the paper and the wrinkles are coming on the tail end in both the sides

Used the same paper on different machine it runs without any problem and there are no bends or anything on paper

Have you tried a different paper on the same machine? The printability of any given stock is often a moving target in time. Unless your paper storage AND pressroom environment remain consistent as far as temp and RH , the sheet that runs fine this week may not run fine next week. This is one area that is often overlooked when it comes to upper managements decisions to incur the cost of climate control throughout the entire plant. Ive found it to be not all that unusual, for poor pressroom scheduling to require running paper right off the delivery truck, in below freezing outdoor conditions. Then issues with the job are blamed on the press operator!!!
The universally accepted "rules of printing" that we've all known for decades, should not be subject to negotiation, just because they are inconvenient or too costly.

Yes tried it - still getting wrinkle on tail
Getting on 58gsm paper also and in 250gsm also

You’ve already shown that it isn’t a stock issue when you ran that same paper through a different press without any issue...so why continue to waste time with that?

Check, clean, and lubricate all of the grippers on your infeed swing arm, and do the same for all of the grippers on your impression cylinders. Note the results. As already mentioned by another poster, another way to troubleshoot the issue is to turn the units (impression) on one at a time, and see if the paper wrinkles with only one unit (impression) turned on. If it does, which unit is it?

To one engineer came he checked all the gripper so there is no problem with the gripper but I am getting wrinkle on second unit when put in impression on he was not able to find a solution he checked the cylinder and and all also no problem with that also no problem with blanket also.
Can’t find a solution

How many press operators that you know, have the same skill set? Engineers are also only human and have different levels of training, understanding, and skill set/talent. They’re not all the same. Without being there myself I would guess that your ‘engineer’ is wrong in his assessment. I wouldn’t have let him leave until the problem was solved because that’s his job. It’s why he’s there. Either that or call someone else.

With that said, you just mentioned where the problem probably is in your post. It’s either somewhere in the transfer cylinder’s grippers before the second unit, or, it’s with the second unit’s impression cylinder grippers. I would focus on that area.

I have called another engineer tomorrow let’s see what he has to say.
The one that came today tried all gripper setting but couldn’t not solve it. He is saying the timing of gripper is having problem. Let’s see

How many of these technicians are/were from Komori? Seems very strange that a Komori technician can’t find a problem with one of their machines. I’ve never experienced that before.

The paper or duplex board that we are using is catching moisture due to cold climate it’s happening even after packing it so how can I eliminate this problem as if we use paper directly there is wrinkle on paper and if we heart the paper and use there is no wrinkle but the gauge is having problem in pulling the paper.

A "cold climate" usually has the effect of a sheet giving up its moisture.

In my opinion you don't need an engineer to solve the problem, all you have to do is have a good conductor to make a good passage of paper.
Regarding wrinkling, make sure that you are printing in the correct direction of the fibers of the support and the correct direction of printing of the press.
Can you give me a video of the problem?
