Komori sprint impression coil

I am having Komori sprint 2 color
I want to confirm does the impression coil gets heated up while using or is there a problem with it as sometime it stops working.

Hi sir:

You must understand , that each in any field of Industry; like Contactor, Relais, Solenoid, they generated some Heat normal, by the electromagnetism induced in the magnet.

However you must test with your finger, if the coil is Normal or Abnormal heat, compare with other Impression coil in the same machine, and see if they are Heated too much, in that case , can be a faulty mechanical-electrical, and will be a good idea to replace.

That problem got solved but now feeder timing is off how do I set that and front lay automatically starts is it problem of solenoid bcos I have checked the wiring it’s ok

Hi sir:
Can be 2 options:

1) Feeder out of time


2) front lay +amplifier : Dirty, loose connection, or corrosion, look for some Dry or colder joint solder in the Amplifier,or Faulty

Yes the feeder is off time it’s not in proper sync can you help in how to change the timing of feeder it’s delay timing this is old Komori sprint machine.

I got the feeder timing settings done thanks now the feeder problem is solved. Please let me know which sensor is fitted to check the paper going cross and stop the machine I don’t gave that sensor in my machine so would like it fitted.

Please locate in the Main Feeder C.P( All sensors+Amp)

No sir there is no sensor only wires are there for that sensor but I think the sensor must have broken or gone missing so I will like to get new one fitted just want to know what is it said like photo sensor or lay sensor or feeder sensor which one is it

Right now the machine is printing at very slow rate my operator says that the machine speed can be increased to print more sheets/hr but I am not able to find a way to do that as I don’t have manual and machine is old
