Komori S540 "Muting"?

Hi folks.

Be gentle, first post on here

Just started running a S540 & get a "muting" error message which can be cleared but curious as to what is causing it?

Why not call Komori UK ? they have good service and will be very willing to answer your questions.
Komori would like you as a new operator on a new press to be as happy as you can..... call and ask for Mick H. , i am sure he will be glad to answer all your questions.
have something against the Komori guys ?
contact me in the quite root and i will give you some local names & numbers to call for help - it will be most handy on your first days on the press.
By the way , what age is the pres ?

The press is 2.5yrs old.
We have a local Komori demonstrator coming in to give me a bit of tuition so he will probably sort it out.

Only run Lithrones & Roland 700's before so the Komori software is all new to me

and if you know the guys from Ken Willkins (in Not'), they could help too i believe

 

Muting normally has to do with the delivery safety curtain. Check your operation manual. . .

 

I'm working on a new LS640.Sometimes appears this error.usually disappears in a minute.

 

Are you pressing the muting button?

 

There are not special (for reset) button.Error itself disappears.

Enlighten me as to where it is & what it does

I have bought the PQC manual home to have a look at.

Sorted, it was indeed the sensor curtain on the delivery.
