Hey Guys Having a few issues with a press at work here are a few as follows:

Press stopping by its self during production

Getting spray build up on the 1st 3 blankets when doing a back after 2000 sheets, we have the spray unit on the 1st side 15%/2 and back up 45%/2 decks are 1-0 2-k 3-cyan 4-magenta 5-yellow 6-0 then coater unit looks like it could be build up of spray from feeder wheels??

Main Motor over load error keeps arising every now and then have to turn press off and then back on to resolve issue,

and alsop main brake error signal error keeps going off every time we stop the press

Lets start with an easy one - the main motor brake gap sensor is checked when you stop. So adjust the gap right away. If it has been ongoing for a while, the brake may not be releasing which will overload the motor. Excessive brake gap can also cause the brake coils to overheat require brake replacement. . .

The press is on impression when you are in production and the cylinder is closer to the nip guard so make sure there is no ink build up.

What kind of sprayer is it? when is the last time you REALLY cleaned it? What micron powder are you using? Why, why, why?

With the brake error we have adjusted the brake clearance so we have to replace the pads because there is no more adjustment in it and with the press stopping in production we clean thennip bars every month we have also replaced the springs in the flapper guards abd cant see any wires exposed but it mainly does it when we change a coater blanket because we have the coater unit guard ooen to do it and sometimes to get the press running we have to have tube up in and crawl the press for 3 mins and then it will go idle speed and also the spray unit we have is a graffix digitronic 3000 and the spray we use is nikkalyco type as 100

had this onmy 528, the blanket washers were getting saturated then hitting the nip guards, and shutting it down.

Oil level low or dirty oil filters can cause press to keep stopping! But you normally hear a siren with it!

Check the main brake relay, might be breaking down.

Clean the air filter on the main motor.
