    Hi,
Do anyone know off hand what CFM air compressor is needed.
We're looking into a 5 unit K40 press, but I would like to know what kind of air it needs.
    Thank you for your reply.

Most Komori I have worked on need "6 bar" of air or about 125 psi. Make sure you have a evaporator on the line to reduce moisture in the air, or you will have issues down the road with water in the air cylinders that control the form rollers.

    Thanks for the reply.
What CFM rating should I be looking at with a new air compressor?

6 bar is about 87 psi at sea level. . . The cfm needed by your press depends on the press and condition. Most people plan on a max of 14 cfm at a min of 95 psi. A good double stage 5HP compressor is usually rated for 15-25 cfm @ 125-175psi.
