    Hello dear,
It is not possible to directly save CIP3 files from a CTP for KBA printing machines but Whn a printing plate is exposed by a CTP, and you have a computer with CIPLINK3 software installed, and in this software you did the KBA machine configuration, then it is possible to generate CIP3 files using CIPLINK3 software, the CIP3 data is in ppf or cip format. Once the file is generated, You can use floppy disk or local netwrok to transfer this file to KBA machines. There is a job structure in the CIP file, have a look on the picture. A CTP cant make this structure directly, but CIPLINK3 software can do.

Hello, you would need your rip to generate a ppf file so that ciplink could interpret it and convert it into a .COL file, which is what will place your ink keys.
