Hi All,
For sale: Ergonomically-shaped hand jogger block for use in trimming paper in a print shop bindery. Dimensions are 5" high, approx. 11 1/2" wide, and 7 1/2" deep. Weight is 4 Lb 4 oz.
The unit is made in the USA in the seller's backyard workshop using a CNC router and various power and hand tools. This jogger block is the product of sixteen years' experience using many different designs of jogger blocks with varying degrees of success and, often, PAIN! The jogger block you see here was developed by the seller over a period of months. Several subtle refinements in the shape of the handle were made based on daily use experience of four different cutter operators in a busy print shop/bindery environment.
Material is UHMW polyethylene, which is easy to clean, very resistant to wear, and resistant to most chemicals. A sheet magnet is applied to the bottom to provide some holding force to product in front of the knife. See demonstration video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz1sR23zMA4
