Interested by Canon C10000VP

We are interested to buy Canon C10000VP machine.
Any feedback about machine reliability, cost per page, consumable life time?

I was an operator on the earlier model of this device, and I currently work as a specialist - selling and training new operators on the C10000. Canon did their due diligence is correcting a lot of the issues that the earlier models experienced. Overall it's a really solid digital press with excellent capability and exceptional image quality. It also doesn't experience the dramatic slowdowns when running larger or heavier sheets, due to it's dual fuser assemblies. A third party reviewer ranked it the most productive machine in its class (any beyond its class).

The charge assemblies do need mildly frequent attention, but with proper training, the operator can perform these quick fixes without calling service. Canon's new drum and developer systems are top notch, and don't require frequent attention at all. It also comes standard with a decent inline spectrophotometer that's great for calibration and basic color profiling.

I know a lot of people who enjoy and respect the C10000 a great deal. It's overall an excellent machine.

Cost per page is going to vary by your dealer - but should be close to 0.04 for color and 0.007 for black.

We're able to buy a second hand C10000VP machine.
It will be for a starting printing business so not that much volume.

But I don't know if the counters are OK, or to much, how many can such printer print in its lifetime ?

Total: Approx. 13,310,419 pages
Colour: Approx. 1,697,557 pages
Black: Approx. 11,066,389 pages

Price is 5000 euro, with a lot of modules. Status page looks still good.

I hope for some advice ...
