My employer bought an offset press with a colf foil tower on it, and were attempting to print ink on top of foil without priming the foil first.
we adhere the sheet in unit 1, cold foil stamp then cure in unit 2. the ink starts to pick and pile, also the foil picks when impression is on in other units. Were using LED UV inks also, that may be of help. we can lamp in units 2,3,4,9 and 10.
any suggestions yall may have besides trying different blankets, reducing ink, adjusting the roller train temperature or using primer would be helpful.

    thank you.

If you could make an overprint with trap of say 0,2 mm in foil -not sure if it can be done-
Use of extra drier or a batch of ink that dries really fast
    Varnish -oil/water- over foil?
Less pressure at other units and tone up/down plate curves
