Imprinting on top of AQ coating

    Hello I an going to be imprinting on top of AQ coating but as we tested it the print does not seem to lay down very smooth it is A solid black Imprint KO type need some help !

    K and N makes an ink called RT black. I think this will work for you. Im sure other ink companies either have some off the shelf product for this type of application, or if not could formulate you something.

    Thanks for the info do you know what RT stands for or what is ? we are already use an oxi black with low tack

    We did print on top of AQ or synthetic paper using special ink and additive.
    That is a Saphira SOLID black + Simulator ( fast drying agent ) and also use Aqueous additive to put into fountain solution.
    Check with your ink supplier, they will have solution if not carrying the same brand.
    Beware of the fast drying fact of the simulator, pressman went for lunch and leave the press sit idle for about an hour, it starts to dry and need a brief wash before he can carry on to print.
