I would suggest researching an Intellitrax closed loop system as opposed to the more costly Heidelberg Image Control. I feel that the Intelletrax is quite a bit more user friendly, and equally accurate at maintaining consistent ink densities.

But it seems intellitrax2 cannot do sheet inspection! It is only color check on color bars. Like Axis control.
Image Control can scan whole sheet for inspection.

Sheet inspection is what a pressmans eyes are for. At times the complexities of advanced systems like that wind up being outside of the abilities of many employees to understand and master. Notice that I said "many employees"!!! If you're looking to bring in technology that will allow for the janitor to run the press, then these advanced electronics will wind up being either underutilized or not used at all. It's my opinion that press manufacturers love to tout their presses ability to run with less manning requirements, and to run with a less skilled press crew thus saving the company lots of payroll dollars. The reality often winds up having press crews that are computer geeks with limited "ink on paper" skills.
