Kevin, are you interested in this specific system? Or in envelope print system generally? I will have beutiful, just returned from lease, Xante En-Press system avaliable in a couple of days.
I already checked it out, was waiting for financial institution to release it, they just did. It has 180k total b/w+color which is nothing, looks great, some new toners cartridges in the package, etc.
Please LMK if this is something you'd consider. It will be fully serviced, tuned-up and ready to work right out of the box.

    Hi,
We have a couple Xante's already. Do you have any Riso Comcolors or anything with the HP FI-1000 print head? Or anything else Memjet?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

Hi, I do not know Xerox machines. Universally, if issue with specific color(s) I'd try changing Drum Blade (if available separatelly) or Drum Unit of the problematic color.
Above works if isssues clearly with pure cyan and or magenta.
Also inspect the condition of Fuser rollers.
Offen, when it gets better with quantity, it means that fuser rollers cleaning us.
If you get distinguished lines, take a page with those flaws put it on the clean table, take a Cyan drum out and put it on the top of that page, centered. Just take a look if there is toner residue on the drum surface where you see flaws on the prints.
Note: please do not touch drum surface with your fingers, also keep in mind that drum coating is very fragile, just be careful.

actually the problem is pure cyan and pure yellow sometimes at different areas, sometimes disappear in long run, what baffled me is that sometimes too only cyan, yellow disappear, below i a sample of the print out

I would start with inspecting Drum Units... When were your drums serviced or replaced last? These machines been on the market for a while, I'd assume there are good quality aftermarket components should be available. Order set drum blades and Primary Charge components - sometimes it is a roller PCR roller or corona wire - it is platinum coated wire and a grid, these should not be very expensive, if you're drum units are not so fresh - it is a good idea to service them.
Also, keep in mind that upon new blades installation, drums need to be coated with Teflon Drum powder, for that initial start-up turn, otherwise excessive friction because everything new/clean, it can flip the blade and ruin blade and/or drum. Having industry professional servicing your machine is highly advised otherwise, in case off error, all the potential savings from DIY could be out of the door. Or... there is always a youtube.
Disclaimer: I assume - you know what you're doing :) and just asking for a second opinion.

OK. Drum blades replacement makes even more sense as those are made out of silicone and have shelf life as well besides wear from use. They could dry up eventually and loose elasticity causing lines, toning, etc.
