    Hi Folk,

I am having a side one skewing problem.
I have ran a IOP, IOI, cleaned the glass, sensors, mob sensor calibration and so on.

    Any Thoughts?

    Thanks

Aside from that check and make sure you don't have a small corner of a sheet from a previous jam in the transport path. Also look under Area 7 and see if there is a sheet down there. Tech showed me this and it really does make a difference.

Also verify that your stock is truly square if it is cut down in house. Doesn't take much to throw it off.

I was just about to post this. My paper is miserable.

and second, clean any and all paper path rollers. I just went through a week of misery, with a gloss coated stock that was pre printed. and WAY over saturated with drying powder. coating rollers, and paper sensors. Constant cleaning. I would get skewing, odd timing....the stacker went berzerk etc.

    Hi greg0535,

I had a look under Area 7 and I found a small sheet of paper down there.
Also checked the transport path and I didn't find any piece of paper around that.
My paper is cut down in house and the paper is truly square.
The skewing on paper side one still there and I am solving this problem for while using image shift adding some value in X and Y.

    Thank you for your help.

    Regards,
    Anderson Moreira

    Hi peels,

My paper is miserable too but I have been using so many different type of paper here like glossy, matte and Uncoated too.
The tech said in reason of the uncoated paper its almost like self-cleaning but I am going to clean manually one by one asap.

    Thank you for your help.

    Regards,
    Anderson Moreira

At that point about all you can do is clean the rollers and rerun your IOI. if that doesn't do it call your tech.

Check where the lower transport mounts near the feeders. We had one incorrectly installed and eventually it ended up bending the counter balance that helps support the transport when lowered to clear paper. We were continually getting skewed images from this due to the transport being skewed physically. Ended up replacing the counter balance mount and correctly installing the lower transport. Have not had a problem since.

    Hi Folks,

Firstly, Thank you so much for all in trying to help me.
Well, I have took all the advises posted here but unfortunately, I didn't have any success so far, the side one continually getting skewed around 1 mm off.
Looking forward to hear from you guys some new advice.

    Kind regards,
    Anderson Moreira

In the past we could not resolve 2nd side skew on a few machines. The logs would show 2nd side input skew errors that it could not correct. In the end we had to replace the whole turnaround transport (Area 8) to resolve the problem on all the effected machines. This cured it 100%. Why we don't know as we could not see anything amiss. Just changing the rolls and idlers did not fix the problem

    1mm difference front to back?

Honestly, that is acceptable in my world, using this paper. Maybe 5mm i would start getting seriously concerned.

and weird having to replace the entire transport...weird, but not surprised....
