iGen3 white spots on duplex side

Hi everyone.
I'm getting a strange print quality issue that I'm struggling to pinpoint.
It's producing prints with random white spots (deletions) all over the sheet on the duplex side only on Silk weights 250gsm and above.
I've changed the Transfer and Detack wires, new fuser roll, RAM looks fine.

I can't believe it's the paper as I've been using the same brand for 3 years without problem, but uncoated stocks 250gsm and above seem to be fine.

Could it be to do with the sudden change in temperature (in UK)? Although the printroom is airconditioned the temperature has dropped a bit.

Anyone have any other suggestions or experienced this before? I'm slightly going insane!

yes, change of season into dry and cold. its the dry that gets you. very true if its stored outside your air conditioned room. I deal with this on VERY light porous sheets. I must lower the number in the MEDIA setting for whatever side has the problem. or both.

note: this can cause MUCH static in the paper. especially if you lower the number by a LOT. expect a zap when you pick the stack up off the tray lol book says to go down by 10's until snow is gone

All media is storred in the same airconditioned room as the print machine. I discovered how important this is some years ago - makes a huge difference!

I'll take a look at lowering the media setting.
I'm used to a zap or two. I get some big ones whilst changing the dev using the vacuum cleaner (with an earthing wire!!!)
