Ideal 5560 Touch display error

Hi, recently the touch display is not working properly, it began to fail so i could not press the same button twice, later all the scren become touchless, but it worked from time to time, now, it's totally touchless, the display shows all the information, but i can't press any button.

If i start the cutter the ordinary way, it gets completely frozen and shows the "comunication Error".

But if i press on the screen while starting up, then the usual configuration menu appears, and "start" button needs to be pressed as usual and the cutter works perfectly, except for the touch device. It only works on the start.

Hi again, tech service thought it could be the controller board, on the back of the cutter.
They send me a replacement, y changed them and it was no solution. The same error code and misfunction appears. So the send me the touch screen panel.
This time it worked perfectly when i replaced the old one with the spare part.
I have a friend, with a hobby on electronics, and i'm giving the old display to him, just to check if maybe the problem is some resistance or capacitor.

Touch displays going bad is common. I havent found one thats fixable.

I wasn't expecting to fix it, i'm giving a try just in case.
But being a common issue makes me sad, it cost me 1.200€ the spare part and the cutter only has 5 years of working. I hope it doesn't happens again.

I have the same display unit but the measurement is currently out by about 1.2mm. Did you have to reset the measurement when you fitted the new unit ?
Can you tell me how to adjust the measurement.

No, i didn't do any adjustment to the unit, i just unplugged the old one and place the spare part exactly the same way.
I'm sorry i can't help you. Working with that displacement must be a headhache.

Yes, it is a bit of a pain.
But to make things worse we also have an Ideal 4860ET with a smaller vertical LCD display which is also has a measurement displacement!!!
Don't know if anyone can help, as it just slows us down.
I found online how to correct the measurement on the older EP machine we had, but nothing on the newer models

Could it be a problem on the blade carrier adjustment? maybe is not an electronic problem but a hardware problem.
