Hi, I'm getting an ERT04 error on my 5221-95EP Guillo, from what I've been reading its likely to be related to the potentiometer, but I'm unsure of the correct diagnostic procedure for this particular machine (it seems to vary from model to model). If anyone could help with some info or some more detail on error codes etc, it would be much appreciated. I've followed the official channels in Australia, and the support seems to be non existent here. Before I go out and buy a replacement part, I'd like to test it out at least.

So far I managed to get to the diagnostic screen by holding the cm/inch button before turning on the main power, followed by the 88 88.8.8 message.
Pressing 9 I get the following values:
rb 19
rt 19
Ad 127 (This one goes from a range of 0-254 as I turn the potentiometer - I'm not sure what the required value is for proper initialisation)
Cr 00
Ston 00

Sadly without a service manual to reference I can only guess at what to do from here.
I did have a problem with a broken spring in the pot dial going back a while, so I marked zero to allow me to initialise the machine which worked for some time, but now I can't even get past the ERT04 error.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Please check the function and value of the potentiometer

Attached is there how to adjust

I reset the pot to ad value 40, and the ert4 error is gone, but now I'm seeing error ert 10, do you have any suggestions where to go from here?

    Error code Er-10:
Backgauge motor is defective or moves too strong.

Please check, if the backgauge is on its end position and has jammed. The tooth belt of the drive system should be moved easily.

When the back gauge has not jammed, please check the function of the potentiometer 5221 495 inside the handwheel for correct adjustment by the enclosed diagnostic routine. Also check the capacitor 9002 635 for correct function. If potentiometer is defective or not correctly adjusted, the display will also show Er-10.

I managed to find the issue thanks to your advice, the shaft had shifted, causing friction between the backstop and the bottom plate. This was triggering the ert10 error as it was having resistance.
Thank you once again for your time and advice^^
