IDEAL 4850-95ep

Blowing fuses, does anyone know what F4 and F5 fuses on the board control? I'm blowing fuse f4 immediately after putting power to the cutter. Every thing works fine. Back gage moves, keypad works but it wont cut. Stuck.

 

Hi fuse F4-F5 ARE FOR protecting coil of contactor k1 k2 ,etc and limit switch
in the paper cutter.
Look carefully if there some loose cable, or broken contact from limit switch or for contactor, and doing short circuit, and that way porducing blown fuses. of course the main switch, can be in short circuit too, since they have contacts inside, and can be broken producing the short circuit for bown the FUse f4

Thanks for the reply. The fuse blows when the key for the lights is turned on.and thats it. We took the switch out to see if they switch was short circuiting and it was now. We can get the knife and clamp to come down by pressing the relays
