I am have a small print shop and currently have a Xerox Docucolor 252..
I am looking to get a wide format printer but not sure if I should go with the HP or Canon..

I would be printing posters, signs and expect to sell photo printed on canvas..

    Thank you...

We have the HP. Work the a$$ of it. It has been the single best investment we bought in the shop. We charge for the product. Canvas comes out absolutely incredible. Not sure on the Canon. I would compare the overall cost of the machine and more importantly, the ink costs. I know my costs are $72 for a 130 ML ink cartridge. Ask about cost per sq inch... media is media. The real profit comes from keeping the costs low. The HP has software that shows every job cost. A valuable tool. My ink costs run 55 cents per sq foot. Again, not sure on the Cannon. I didn't compare that when we bought.
