The press is using too much ink we printed 1800 sheets and it used 8 cans of ink and the separator bucket was overflowing.

Check your seventh blade if its collecting a lot of ink your blades could be damaged or your delay duration settings are way out

The prints show stains? If not present anything in print are not the blades. Already checked the ink flow valve? can be very open.

What values have you for the writing head laser powers and Developer / reverse roller voltages if ink density is way off these will indicate it by all laser powers being at 1 or all being at 30 , its possible that if the job is predominately one colour or is a four colour black that the wiper blades are not working correctly or are not making good contact with the developer so power off press and remove and clean all check that blades are secure in holders and hold up to light to check for ripples , also try reducing delay duration values until the fullout image is affected at tail and leading edge then adjust the delay value by small increments until lead edge is good and them do same for duration value until trail edge is good.
