Hallo, I admit - total newb, have been struggling to get secondhand Z2100 up and running.

Previous owner had it working ok on a mac, I'm on a PC, Win XP, have installed latest firmware and driver (HP GL/2 and RTL), using Photoshop to print a tiff file or even the printer properties test page gets only the 61:01 error code "Wrong file format. Cannot print".

Consulting the service manual points to graphic language mismatch as the cause. But, I can not find a way to change graphic language on either the printer or the PC. Methods given in user guide and service manual do not appear to be available, i.e. suggested menu items are not available on my printer front screen. Do I need an older driver that HP no longer make available, for instance HP PCL3 GUI? Can't find that anywhere to try as a solution. Have tried the HP forum without success so far. I'm stumped.

Maybe I should buy a mac.
    Regards,
    Steve
