How many jobs is the norm per day on DI

Hi Guys, I have had a look at our production sheets for the last couple of months and was wondering how many jobs all of you are doing per day on a DI.

 

I am able to run 4 jobs a day double sided
Each job about 2000 sheet

 

It varies, but like ahendriks, that is about average.

 

Our Heidelber Tech says we should be doing 8 jobs of 2000 sheets a day, is this overstated?

 

That matches what ahendriks said...as he indicated his were double sided while your tech just said "sheets"

 

when i was running a qmdi it would not be uncommon to run 10 -15 jobs per 8 hr day, some double and some single sided jobs on 80 gsm bond to 150 gsm gloss up to 300 gsm board, with run lengths between 500-5000.

I have to agree with jet screamer.....When I work as a pressman on a QMDI Press. I ran 6 to 8 jobs a day....
