    Good afternoon.
I've been printing for little over 3 years now using a Epson 1500w with CISS.

I am able to print high quality labels upon vinyl A3 sheets.

However as time goes on customers want the next best thing, this appears to be printing direct onto mylar bags, usually we would print a same size vinyl adhesive to stick on the bag but now we are looking to get a machine or device that prints direct on too the bag.. assuming this must be a laser printer?

Very new to the whole printing game in knowledge terms so would appreciate any help!

    Thanks, Joe

What size are the mylar bags?
What quantity do you run at once?

Feeding and fusing would be issues. If the bags are very small, there are some envelope laser setups that might, might work. I emphasize might. https://intecprinters.com/products/digital-color-printers/envelope-printing-solution/ or https://www.xante.com/product-infor...tal-multi-media-press-with-enterprise-feeder/
Where there is uneven thickness where the bag is folded under you could get a line. And it might well jam.

For smaller volumes, a flatbed UV inkjet might be what you are looking for.
