Help qmdi blank screen issue

Hello We Are Currently Running A QMDI PRO, For Some Reason Our Touch Screen Goes Blank And We Can Not Run Our Heide We Have To Turn The Press Off And On. Some Times It Catches On The First Try But It Usually Takes Us About 3 Times To Get It Going Please Help ....

Hope you've had some luck resolving your issue, If your screen is not displaying any information is surely is a problem with the internal PC.

I would first obviously check all the connections, if not its likely to be a failed/failing piece of hardware. First thing I would try is a different PC Monitor.

Then if you have access to any PC components I would try switching RAM its likely to be something like SDRAM due to the age of the machine.

I don't think it can be anything to do with the press but it could be any of the PC components.

It could be something as simple as the cable connection to the video card on the PC. Although I would be interested to know if your MID screens are coming up when this happens. If the MID screen on the feeder just says Heidelberg and never goes to teh degrees then the entire PC is not booting up and you have another issue as MightyAndy outlined above.
