help me with large format pritning

I'm very familiar with A3/4 size inkjet and laser printers. I've several ones in my company.
But now I need something capable of printing A0 size vinyl stickers. Please help me chose a plotter to do this and enlighten me a little bit about it.
Are all plotters the same? Do they all use dye ink? how to put a protective coating on the vinyl? Or it doesn't need any?

so after hours of research I've found out that there's two types of large format printers: ink jet and thermal transfer. the main difference is inkjet may require lamination for high scrub applications. there's other minor differences. Ink jet printers come in Solvent and Aqueous inks.

I'm looking for the cheapest A0 eco solvent printer with cheap aftermarket inks.
I don't care about print quality or speed or noise or energy consumption.
I just need to print in self adhesive vinyl and normal paper.
can someone help me please?
