HELP ( 1 Laser Unit Burning Plate At Slant Off Registration )

As The Title Says One Of My Laser Units Is Burnig The Plate At A Slant So Images Are Not Registering What Can Cause This To Happen Thanks...

 

It sounds like the mechanism skew somehow has been altered. Did you accidently install an old footprint disc?

This function is accessed in the service function screen of your press. The best way to set it is to use the QMTEST job and align the unit giving you problems to one that is working fine. The gripper edge left corner must be aligned first. Once it is in place then you adjust the mechanism skew to straighten the image and align it to your reference color.

 

I think jose press is a PRO. Do you need a sercode to get that skew function?

Hello Paul,
With reference to this OLD post of yours - we are having a problem with our 4th unit imaging at a slant also. When I adjust the "Skew Mechanism Setting" I am able to see some improvement. However, this straightens the SLANT of the 4th UNIT but then the entire image of the 4th UNIT is at a slant relative to the other 3 UNITS

"ALIGN THE GRIPPER EDGE LEFT CORNER FIRST" How do we do this? Please can you advise?

Any advise on this issue would be most welcomed.
