Hello to all on here!
My name is Keith, i run a small airbrush and sticker buisness.
I currently use a canon ipf6300 printer and a gerber edge 2 thermal printer. I am having increasing problems finding self adhesive inkjet vinyl, dont get me wrong I can get it but its not anyway near as good as solvent compatable media, especially on the glue front.
So I want to change over to a new solvent or eco solvent printer. I have spent the last few days going round in circles as to where I should go.
I only need up to a1 size really but i need to be able to lay down white ink for printing in clear vinyl and flo vinyl like I do now on my thermal printer. I would also love to be able to make banners which i currently cannont do due to the ink i use in my canon.
I would really love to hear anyones thoughts on this!
oh also i laminate alot of my graphics due to use in the RC car field and also moto x so they need to be tough!
Does anyone know of a printer/cutter that can have the printed graphic removed for lamination and then placed back for cutting? At the moment I use reg marks to line up in a seperate cutter, my studio is small so any space i can get back would be really good.
Hopefully someone here can help point me in the right direction
Thanks!
