After resolving the previous problem and find other things that where not right and correcting them https://www.colorprintingforum.com/...-sheets-feed-and-wont-go-on-impression.23686/ we created another issue.
In the process we found the ribbon cable between the console power supply rack in the bottom left hand side of the CPTronics and the controller board to the right that controls the display. This cable is used to monitor the power supplies and inhibit functions if the power supplies are out of spec. It was not plugged in. We tested the power supplies and all the voltage was in spec, so we plugged it in.
We loaded a job in to the press, and setup the board size. We when to ink up the press and the console way to the right would not perform the task. We also notice that the move change to the ink well ball ink up remained flashing on the console to the right like the speed change was still on the move.
Learning from the last issue we had, and went straight to the changes that we made, we unplugged the power supplies monitoring cable, re-powered up the press and the press functioned normally.
The console power supplies monitoring cable is use to check the power supplies, if they are out, many of the moves int (ink keys, ink well ball/roller speed, and other items we have not identified yet, will not function.
