The delivery is going up, down and stopping fine. Once the automatic drop starts after a couple of sheets, and it begins lowering all the way down and won’t stop without stopping feeding. Does anyone know what sets off the automatic drop. relay, sensor, weight, sheets, or if I’m just missing something completely.

There are two switches which one of them may be causing this fault. These switches control the automatic pile down of delivery table.
b80 and b81. If your machine has auxiliary feeder pile, then add b81a.
b81 and 81a are black micro switches mounted on the feeder table chain. Open the upper feeder chain cover and ensure they’re switching correctly when the chain is moving. You’ll normally hear their clicking sound.

b80 is located at the delivery. It’s either a micro switch mounted on the table chain or a Cam switch mounted on a Cam of delivery table.
All these switches has 2 contacts in them wired for automatic delivery table controls. Check them.

The wiring box in b80 had melted and rusted, causing the switch to get constant power.
