we have registration issues. we run 400gsm cardboard(600micron) 5 colours straight no perfection used. when we see the sheets after delivery there is a marking of pads of impression cylinder after the 1st unit. this machine is 1+4 perfecting. that is sheets bend(damaged by pad downwards) on the pad area.we think that the cardboard is slipping backward during travelling from unit to unit. the gripper side edge is damaged on pad portion. pls advz solution. diamond pad with straight groove are fit on the machine. gripper settings are ok. pls advz solution.

First, check for blown cam followers throughout machine. Diamond pad with straight groove? What is that. You either have crosscut (diamond) pads or parallel grooved pads..on impression and first transfer cylinders. Parallel groove on double drum and third transfer.

How do you know the gripper settings are ok? Please describe your gripper checking procedure. I can almost guarantee you that it has something to do with the grippers and pads, most likely pefector grippers.

It looks a gripper timing issue and also as exheidmech said check your perfector.
