Heidelberg QW 46-4 DI Encoder issues

I run a Heidelberg QM 46-4 DI. Long story short, we are having to manually adjust our encoders in order to re-set where the press starts to burn plates. This process has been a tedious, guess and check, type of process. Does anyone have any advice on how to make this process easier and more exact. Is there a function in the press's computer that allows you to make encoder ajustments, or does it all have to be done manually??

You have the ability in the press software to adjust where the plates image side to side and front to back. You should not have to be doing this by manually movng the encoders.

Also you may want to post your QMDI questions in the Direct Imaging forum where more people with DI machines can see them.
