Hello, I have a problem with the Quickmaster 46 pneumatic valves losing air when activated, when the compressor reaches 8 bars and the press starts working two of the pneumatic valves activate and start losing air, after 2 minutes of working the air pressure drops to 6 bars and the press stops working, we tried swapping them with the valve we didn't use, but it's the same result, can anyone suggest anything, we tried almost everything. Thanks

    Hi sir:

    Look for schematic Pneumatic diagram:

    1) Pressure switch S27, this switch control the pressure in the tank ,
As soon as a pressure of 8.5 bars is reached, the
    compressor is switched off.
If the pressure in the tank falls below
    6.5 bars, the
    compressor is switched on again.

    2) Pressure control device S24
As soon as a pressure of 8 bars is reached, the
    pressure switch closes.
If the pressure drops below 6 bars, a corresponding
message is signaled to the electronic press control.
If the pressure rises again to 8 bars, the error messages is canceled.

    Good luck

    Blessing

Hi Thanks for responding, I don’t really understand how is this going to help since the air is leaking out faster than the compressor can send to the valves.

    1)You can test the switchs.

    2) use soap in the hoses, pipes, valves, connectors, clamps in order to see, where the leakeage Is.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion, I already know where the leakage is, it is in the valve. Can I fix this or do I have to buy new valves?

I seem to have a different problem, the system does not leak (After fixing a valve) however, not it holds pressure overnight and does not drop to Zero. I am sure this is NOT correct and water is going to build up in the lines. Any suggestions ??

Just open the air release valve screw every night when the press has been turned off, this allows the air to escape & allows for a fresh top up when press is turned back on.

If you need valves, we have some used ones in the catalogue, see it.
