Why will the press not go into automatic wash?
Will wash down manually okay.
Everything works separately but will not go into to Auto wash mode?

Possibly there is an error related to wash up device. Try to check the errors first

Take out both wash up trays see if sensors are working

When you activate the auto wash, error should come up like no rotation seen, tray not inserted etc.

No errors coming up.Should they be on main screen bottom right hand corner or do I need to look in menu

There are sensors located on operator side right next to wash up trays usually green in color if dirty clean.if you take tray out and activate auto wash you should get an error on cp tronic

Yes when I take tray out it regonises it and brings up error.When I put tray/ trays back in error code goes away okay, but when I put machine to washup it will sit and idle and nothing happens.
It is not confined to a unit as we have tried separately washing units.I am thinking it could be something in the software of machine.

You may have bad board you can try to seat and reseat boards this may help sometimes oxidation build up on board pins .

Check air pressure gauge at the tank. If the pressure is low or the pressure switch is defective, auto wash won't work.

These are okay as 1&2 procedures are working fine ,it's just ink roller wash

You're confusing me. What's your press problems with wash? Ink rollers, plates or blankets??

Press problem is it will not switch Autowash on.
just sits and idles.
no errors showing and everything works separately on manual

Hi Alistair,
How are you able to wash the plate? This is usually done via the roller wash.
Before you start playing with circuit boards, you should check the preset settings on the screen.
You should make sure that you have the correct percentages for the fluids, and the correct amount of revolutions for the duration of the wash.
