Hi,
i have a Heidelberg MOPV 1991 and all plates register are not working after changing the RGP2 card what is creating this issue?
Thanks

  • Hi, all the powersupply are ok, all voltages are in specs and all fuse are ok, where is the MOT board?
i tried to swap the ssk card but nothing changes, here i post the init test and dyn test, the spk in the init test is the onty thing blinking.
I'm thinking is a problem with the new eeprom in the new rgp2 card that doesen't recognise the plate register or a problem in the CPC of the machine

Plate cylinder register servo control is controlled via CPC console, not CPTronics.

So i have to control the wiring diagram of the CPC to try to find the problem? and not the SSK board that says that drive the servo motors?

The CPC monitor says the register value, but pressing the lateral, circunferential and diagonal registers button the value remains the same

Pardon me if I'm missing something, but every machine I have ever installed and repaired has had the ink zones, lateral and circumferential cylinder movement's command and control circuitry originating at the CPC, 1.03 in your case. SSK servo control is not involved.

So the problem is inside the CPC and not in the CPtronic in the cabinet as the electritian said, do you have the wiring diagram of the CPC?

This should have come with your machine.

Pretty sure that's true, i dont have documentation to verify. Look at part designation on board. Someone with better recollection may be more sure of answer?

Part code are the same so i think they are interchangeable, tomorrow i will try to swap them to see if it make something change but i don't think so, maby the problem is something else, i tried to check all fuse in the powersupply and on the board in the back but they are all ok

CPC must recognize machine is in forward motion (running) in order to make physical changes at plate cylinder servos. If I remember correctly, there’s a relay in CPC cabinet that must be energized. May be possible coil is bad in relay or contacts fouled?

Remove the three screws holding the keyboard console down. Lift hinged panel up. Should be near back wall below protective fusing panel. You said you've checked the glass fuses, correct?

  • I tried to swap the MOT Cards and nothing changes, all glass fuse are ok and all fuse in the NTK power supply are ok
