    might want to try using permapack. not only will it not creep if installed correctly, but it will make your plate hanging significantly faster.

    Grain direction of the packing can causes issues also.

    Why would you be using a paper packing, get permanent packing on the plate cylinders ASAP, it will save you time and money in the long term.
