HEAVY magenta

    all, i have had this problem, for months now. Started as only happening after "adjusting print quality" immediately have a very heavy coating of magenta background.

    many repairs have been done, thinking it was fixed... but now its back.

    --reman magenta developer station.
    --also had apparently stopped pushing carrier.... fixed.
    --magenta ROS was printing light, replaced.

    call is placed. but im lost on what else it could be. Makes it through 951. just prints poorly. I dont get it.

    sounds like a charging issue

    Ended with a Cleaner housing, only because we had one on the shelf, new developer (again) and a TC sensor. (which is what I said it was day one LOL) they had put on a "refurb" station....but refused to believe it could be less than perfect.

    so far OK.

    Magenta usually means the xerographics cavity temperature is too high. Check fuser exhaust fan. Might be damaged or dead.
