Hi gentlemen’s. I’m running a Heidelberg 102 zp model 94, cp tronic. I have been running the press at 11,000 an hour with no problems at all. Here is a stupid question: is it safe to run the press at that speed since it is an old press? It is my fist Heidelberg, that’s why I’m asking.

If you are getting the expected results relative to print quality and ability to maintain ink water balance, RUN IT!! Be wary of inreased noises at higher speeds, particularly delivery and transfer shells. Great lightning show tonight! I’m in Tucson for my cousin’s wedding tomorrow, and got to see a monsoon downpour. Great town, and beautiful sights, Ricardo!

The press runs smoothly all day. No noise at all. water balance and quality are great. Enjoy your stay in Tucson. It is going to be hot this weekend, so have a lot of beer. have fun
