Gto 52 grippers

HI ALL. Any idears why paper keeps catching in the front grippers just after the front lays. paper slides easy in the front lays but soon as the grippers come round to pull the paper the through .it always crumpals up only were the grippers pinch. i know the paper dont catch the bottum of the grippers.

 

Couple of things you can check. First make sure the grippers are not hitting the sheet as the gripper bar comes back tword the feed table. Second make sure the head stops are not moving when you are not running sheets. Third make sure the grippers are not trying to pull a sheet through the headstops. While just idling the grippers should remain open as they come tword the feed table. It is possible that the control linkage for head stops and grippers is worn and needs to be replaced.
