GTO 52-4 Envelopes. Bad pitch.

Hello. There is a print run on the envelopes. I start the feed, 1-10 pieces are served, then the delivery of envelopes stops. If you print paper, there are no problems, the paper feed works well. Help me understand why envelopes don't go in the car. Thanks

 

This issue may be due to the urethane being worn down on gripper fingers. Apply a strip of tape over holes on pad surface of traveling feed gripper, if press then continues to feed, you may need to replace or adjust gripper fingers.

There is perhaps some feeder setting to do , thickness or air to rectify

 

Printing envelopes may be quite tricky for unexperienced operator. It depends on what size and type of envelope it is - self seal open envelope need to be feed differently to peel and seal ones etc .It's very important to know how to setup feeder for envelopes. If you are able to post picture of the envelope you print, I'll be able to give you more details.

 

Make sure there is good rubber on the feedboard grippers , the tension is equal both sides and the air holes line up to the holes on the gripper itself. Wallah had this many times
