Recently bought gto 52-2, during first run impression issue was fixed by placing 2x 300gram card under blanket. After 2 days of printing two different sizes, went back to smaller size again impression is not coming at the same spot where it was not coming first. Issue gets fixed by replacing cards under blanket that too after 2-3 tries and replacement of cards. i am wondering what is causing this strange problem. or is there any problem my press since I bought it recently, there are no dents or journal on any of my cyclinder. Press and cyclinders are in excellent condition and blankets are brand new and of good quality. This problem is having in last unit which is second. Waiting for a positive response.

The pressure needs to be checked so that both sides are equal also check plate cylinders if you can call a tech l can't remember what size feeler gauge you need good luck

Impression to blanket is .014" (.035 mm). Be sure your dry solid breakaway prove even. This is accomplished by setting pressure to the stock thickness you will run, turn off damps, and print dry solid in varying pressures (back off pressure .1mm at a time).

    Hi sor
first you have to put calibrated sheets under the blanket with a very precise thickness according to the instructions in the machine catalog so that you avoid the crushing effect of the sheets that you have put of 300g. then try printing if it doesn't look good. then you need to check the printing pressure in this group (I think there is too much pressure than normal).
    Good luck

I’ve had a similar issue with my GTO 52-2, and it was frustrating to troubleshoot. First, ensure the packing under your blanket is precise and matches the manufacturer’s specifications from the machine catalog—using 300g cards might cause uneven pressure. If the issue persists, carefully check the printing pressure in the second unit. I resolved a similar problem by adjusting impression-to-blanket pressure gradually and verifying consistency. If in doubt, calling a tech for calibration might help. Good luck!
