Looking for suggestions here on drying problems! We are using TOYO Aqualess inks and we can not seem to get a good cure with our Black ink on our backs! we are running on PVC substrate and need a solution or just some help in the right direction.

Our substrate manufacture also checks the Dyne level for our stocks for us and they are within spec.

drying issues

Hi
SO it is only your black that will not dry ?

This can be due to weak lamps , dirty lamp heads or old ink.
When was the ink you use made and how do you keep it ?

Black is the only color we typically run on the back of our sheet stock! We normally go thru ink every few weeks so the ink i would suspect to be fairly new. as for the lamps i'm not sure if the heads are dirty. I have a question, would it benefit us to try to remove the glass on the bottom of the lamp housing. thanks for the reply also.

    NO

glass is in place for a reason - do not remove
Check date on the ink tin - it must have a date and the date is was made should not be more then one year back
you can clean the lamps and try another batch of ink - could be the ink us bad.
Black is the hardest to dry in UV , but if all others dry well , i assume the dryer is working - basic logic
so try cleaning and changing ink , and if no cure - lets talk over the phone
