General question related to printing - free software to resize banner to card

Hello Everyone,

I Daniel Smith, new member to this forum and I have a special liking in printing and designing. I want to know which free software I can use to reduce the size of an already designed banner 2.97M by 1M long so I can print unto business card or A4 flyer.

I'm not sure about free.

But, If this is something you are interested in for doing as career you should invest in the Adobe Suite. If you're a student (or know someone who is) you can get a substantial discount on these amazing design and print programs.

 

If you don't have the budget for the adobe creative suite, have a look at the CorelDraw suite.
(I've been using CorelDraw almost daily since 1992)

 

Do you know what the file format is for your artwork ? PDF, JPG, INDD, AI, EPS ?

If your file is pixel based, ie a JPG or similar you can crop and resize it in these free online apps:

yes there are online photo editing that can be use without the need for subscription or any fee.. Sites like Flauntr and picnik is among the wide selection of online editing software..
