SuperStick OPP Laminate In Coatings Thread too...
    Hello,

We run our covers through an iGen 150. Were having problems with Laminate Lifting.
We are also running our covers through the Foliant Taurus 530SF.

    Softback (300gsm Stock)Stock Type (ChorusLuxSilk)
    105 deg
    600 per hour
    2 bar pressure

    Hardback (150gsm Paper)Stock Type(ChorusLuxSilk)
    110 deg
    500 per hour
    2 bar pressure
Covers to be left for 1 hour prior to laminating for the fuser oil to dry.

We have followed these settings that have worked very well overall, Just wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues with OPP and whether there is any recommendations.

    Cheers

Which fuser fluid are you using on the iGen? 150s tend to be installed using Fuser Fluid II (8R130956), which is thicker. Great for fuser rolls, bad for bindery.

Fuser Fluid I (8R13095) is a thinner oil which behaves better for laminating, gluing, etc., etc.

Depending on the software level on your PSIP (notably, if you haven't had it upgraded in quite a while) you may still be able to set fuser oil rates in the Stock Library for individual stocks, but I never noticed much difference with that option and a recent upgrade robbed me of that feature anyway.
