    Hi Good day Sir
    Hope you are well
Please see your schematic diagrams, the SM74 is coming w CPtronic
    the Module STK1 , inside has a power supply for +12v FOR C-MOS logic +24v NTK_BR
the logic for +12V is activating the IC-C-MOS, for Buffer to control the small electronic Relay inside, has 2 Relays down /up
    +2 small Relay for fast/slow.
You need to test the Voltage, In order to see if the Board is faulty, and need Repair or Replace.
However you must Look first for loose cables, for Brake measure +48Vdc IS there ?, limit swichts , dirty or oil in the terminal, open cables, before to
get some Diagnostic for the PCB.
In the board you must if there Bulg capacitor(s) or some foil burn or Open?
    Back to me any question

we had same problem on are cd74 it ended up being a faulty switch that we had to replace. I don't know where this switch would be on your sm74 .plus could be problem with chain if its hitting the switch.
