Switched from regular ink fountain liners to thick UV liners. I am now running UV inks with keys lower and sweep also lower and the density stays same. Don't understand because logically if its a thicker liner, you should open keys to get density but this is not the case. Does anyone have ideas or answer?

    Dear cookie
You are right, thicker liner introduces lower ink, so this is strange!
But as I know, both (original) liners have to be same thichness, they are different in the components of the plastic material itself.
But keep in mind that you cannot compare two different types of ink.
