Error Code 15

I have an SM 74. It will not boot up. Gives us error code 15. The sensors on the delivery will not turn on. Can you help?

 

#15 signifies main electrical cabinet diagnostic fault. “Sensors in delivery”? What sensors? What does the INIT test screen show? Pictures of init test screens would help us determine problem.

 

there are two errors on the screen

1. malfunction control cabinet
2. safety module detects failure

Please let me know.

Do this first, turn off power, unplug and plug back in (reset) all circuit boards.

 

thanks guys! this worked perfectly. i plugged the circuit board back in and we are now running! thanks again.

 

Surely there was a bad contact in one of the electronic cards; plug them in correctly each time you have a problem # 15 and then you can continue the diagnosis as appropriate.
