error code 15-02

I have experienced a 15-02 error code. Comes and goes. (Press moves during brake test-mechanical brake defective)
Can this be fixed without changing the drive motor??????

 

Whenever you try to move the press the first "whirring" sound you hear is the brake being tested. If the press moves during this test the brake is determined bad and the 15-02 error comes up.

You may be able to adjust the brake some by loosening the turnbuckle for the cable on the brake peddle. If it is already at its furthest you more than likely will need a new motor.
