I've twice tried sending a 102" (long) print through a 44" (wide) Epson 9900. The preview looks right and the print starts without any error, but both times the printer has stopped printing about 90% of the way through. The end of the print is clean, not faded, so it seems like a computer error, and, the printer doesn't cut the paper until the point where it was supposed to (at 102"). My hunch is that it's a memory overload or something? The print file is probably about 2.5GB (flattened, 43 x 100", 300 dpi, 16-bit color, .psb file). Any thoughts? Has anyone else had this error? What is the longest/largest print you have been able to make on your Stylus Pro? Technically, it should be able to print up to 600 inches, I read. Has anyone else had issues printing from large files? The printer is directly plugged into the computer via USB. I'm running a 2008 Mac Pro tower with new hard drives.

Standard Mac driver has a limit of about 90.5". A RIP would bypass the limit. This is basically a driver limit. The new Epson P series doesn't have the same driver issue if you are using a 64 bit OS.
